Normally, I wait until Monday to talk about my Jigsaw experiences, but I am seething with anger right now and can't wait.
Last term, my Camden kids were accused of breaking a window in a door. As I sit about 20 feet from said door, it would be impossible for it to happen and me not notice it.
So I arrive today and the same rude janitor who is as tall as me says, 'I have a message about your kids. They opened an alarmed door and we had a huge problem. Your kids are really causing a problem.'
Um, what?
This is the same door as the first time. It's alarmed so the only way to open it is to set off the alarm which emits a wake the dead noise. I sit 20 feet from it and the singing room is next door to it. We would have had to be Helen Keller not to have heard it.
Plus, after we leave, the building is left open so that the kids practing football can use the toilets. They come in without parents or coaches.
Um - but it's my kids?
I really lost my temper (I did apologize for my tone later on). This guy was accusing my kids plus either Nick and I are deaf or completely unprofessional by not reporting it.
For fuck's sake.
