So I got home...as the weather is nice, opened up the door to the balcony and Jolie and Bigsby ran out to enjoy some outside time..I geared up my laptop...I hear my neighbour from upstairs with a friend and her 7 year old son on stairs outside the building. Ignore it...it's a nice night...they should enjoy it too...

Then I hear barking...a kid barking...kind of look up...but although a little startled, the cats are okay...Then Bigsby runs in...and mean RUNS IN!...Look up...Jolie has her back up, her tail is huge....and she is hissing. Jolie has NEVER hissed in her entire life...And then I see a stone hitting the netting..and as I run to the balcony, another one...they are bouncing off, but still WTF!

Got to give her credit, Jolie stood her ground...and kept hissing despite me running out there and screaming 'What the heck are you doing?'

Grab Jolie, bring her inside and go to the stairs...

'Hello? What the heck do you think you are doing?' - this was directed at the mother.
'What?'
'Your son is throwing stones at my cats!'
'Oh the netting is there. They can't get hurt.'
'Are you kidding me? Are you stupid or just a bad parent or both? How can you sit there and allow your son to scare defenseless animals?'
'What are you going to do about it?'
'Well, let's see - first I am going to report you to the management company. Then I may just turn and call social services to tell them that you are allowing your child to act violently to animals. (then turning to the child). Do you know who throws stones at animals? Serial killers when they are young. Evil little children with no sense of right and wrong. If you ever throw another stone at my animals or any other animals, I will make sure you don't have a damn arm to throw it with and that they will come and take your little evil self away.'
'You can't talk like that to my child!'
'I damn well just did. Get off the stairs and take your ignorant self and your evil little child away!'

I stood there and waiting until they went upstairs.

My neighbours across the hall from me had heard the entire thing. (thank god) and said that they would back me up as the evil family is hated by the entire building (especially the nosey couple) and they have been the subject of several tenant meetings. Me thinks it's time to get myself to one of those.

Okay - wrong to threaten the child...but these are MY BABIES, MY KIDS and if you even try to hurt them, even think of hurting them, I will hunt you down and make sure you feel three times the pain....

Bastard mother should have stones thrown at her by her own son and see how she likes it.

Okay - going to have a drink.
