Came in from work to bang (no pun intended) with the Nosey Neighbours at the main door of the building.

We both tried to avoid eye contact until the wife said,'So will you be there tomorrow night?'

I turned, 'Yes, since you feel it's necessary to make up vicious slanderous stories about me, I feel the need to defend myself.'

'Well, we have our opinions.'

'And I have something called facts. And the last time I checked, it can also be called the truth. So see you tomorrow evening.'

They shuffled out...and I went in and fed the kitties.

Grumble. Tomorrow night will be fun.

I am sure you will have a very good defence against such oxymorons especially when their comment was "we have our opinions" last time I knew of it opinions meant jack against evidence! Give them hell (in a civilised way) and make them look very silly. Be thinking of you tomorrow.
